Dynamic Realism gameplay overhaul
After countless tests, direct in-game comparisons, build iterations, and targeted analysis of individual gameplay blocks, all of it led to the creation of the G.O.A.T. Dynamic Realism GP Patch.
The goal was never to simply make the game faster, harder, or more aggressive. The goal was something much more demanding: to create a more believable, more modern, and more alive football experience without falling into arcade behavior, excessive magnetism, or scripted-looking sequences.
Every stage of this project was built step by step. No blind large-scale jumps. No random extreme values. Instead, every important area was isolated, tested, and refined: fouls, defensive behavior, ball reception, shot profile, second balls, transition reactions, team structure, support angles, space occupation, active defending, goalkeeper behavior, and overall match flow.
The result is a gameplay experience that does not just feel different, but more intentional, cleaner, more dynamic, and closer to real football.
The G.O.A.T. patch was not created in one big blind overhaul. It was built through many different versions, each with a clear purpose:
Each build was designed around a limited number of main goals so changes could actually be tested and understood properly. That is exactly why the patch today does not feel like a random mixture of tweaks, but like a coherent gameplay direction.
This patch is not about artificially buffing everything. It is about:
Because in the end: Football should work best when it is played like football.
In short, the G.O.A.T. Dynamic Realism GP Patch is a gameplay rework for players who want more than surface-level changes. It does not just make the game harder or faster. It makes it smarter, more believable, more dynamic, and closer to real football.
A technical breakdown of the dtXX file overhaul and the research process behind G.O.A.T. DynamicRealism Patch.
Development Process: This patch involved extracting constant BINs from the dt18_all.cpk archives and comparing them with older PES versions, including PES 3, PES 5, PES 6, PES 2011-2013, PES 2014-2017, PES 2018, PES 2019, the PES 2020 demo, and PES 2021 retail.
The best values from each era were merged into PES 2021's dtXX files and re-packed correctly into dt18_all.cpk with proper folder structure (common/match/constant/*.bin). After months of tweaking and testing, this represents the most realistic gameplay base we could achieve in PES 2021.
Do not use any other gameplay mods or patches alongside G.O.A.T. DynamicRealism Patch.
This is a complete overhaul of the dtXX gameplay constants. Using other mods will create conflicts and you will not get the intended gameplay behavior.

Crafted with passion for the PES community

This patch is a full rework of the hidden gameplay constants inside the dtXX files. These are the archives where Konami stored all the settings and numbers that drive physics, AI, stamina, collision and goalkeeper behavior. I went back through almost every era of PES and Winning Eleven – PES 3, 5, 6, 2011–2013, 2014–2017, 2018, 2019, the PES 2020 demo, and 2021 retail – to rebuild the best possible gameplay base.
After months of tweaking and testing, this is my attempt to create the most realistic gameplay and feel in PES 2021. I hope everyone enjoys it and has fun with it.
